Well, I don’t even remember when was the last time I did this, that says a lot. This weekly meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. The objective is to answer the three questions starting by a (you guessed it!) W.

Before continuing, I’d like to address, always, what’s happening in the world right now. Things can change now of we decide to speak up and use our social media and platforms to point out the injustice, monstrosity and governmental issues going on in India and Palestine. You can educate yourself on what’s happening here. I’m very active on twitter and instagram to light up the horrible genocide that is going on in Palestine right now, orchestrated by Israel toward innocent civilians, men, women and children. You can help and support India by donating here.

The 3 questions:

I. What are you currently reading?

I’ve recently finished Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo, so I’m jumping to Crooked Kingdom (even if my activity on twitter didn’t allow me to NOT be spoiled so I already know what will happen and goodness I am not happy about it). I’ve also recently sent a package to home country because I almost finished my erasmus exchange year in Sweden and will go back home soon. Unfortunately (or fortunately for me haha), The Stand by Stephen King, which is a chonky boy, didn’t fit in the package (yes, i had a lot of books…). So this is one and only physical book I currently have with me. Finally, I started Last night at the telegraph club, by Malinda Lo. I haven’t heard that much about it except that the topic of homosexuality is present in it, well that’s enough for me, I’m SOLD. I started it and I currently really love the story and how it’s written.

II. What did you recently finish reading?

Before sending all my books, as I told you previously, I finished reading the physical copy of On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous, by Ocean Vuong. Let me tell you, if you haven’t read this book yet, you should do it right fucking now. It’s a favourite of the year I can tell you already, this book was so beautiful, just as the title, it’s briefly gorgeous because memories aren’t eternal and I probably will forget parts of the story, but the feelings I had reading this book will always remain. I recently finished Spin the Dawn, by Elizabeth Lim and I enjoyed my read, it was not phenomenal but the concept was really beautiful. Finally, I finished Six of Crows, by Leigh Bardugo. I listened to the audiobook which is pretty good (except how Inej’s narrator interpret Kaz’s voice, I find it a little bit ridiculous but anyways!).

III. What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve wanted to start reading Joan He’s book, Descendant of the Crane for so long now! Well, it’s finally time. I have access to the audiobook so I will be listening to it (it’s so long what the hell?). I hope I’ll like it, I didn’t look into it too much, so let’s cross fingers. I’m also thinking about starting Some Girls Do, by Jennifer Dugan, which came out recently. I have the ebook and I’m pretty interested in love stories these days! Last, but not least, Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall is on the list! Who never heard of Hood Feminism? Hopefully, I’ll be home soon, because I have the physical copy but it’s part of the bunch of books I sent home… Anyways, as all the TBRs I try to make, it might (sure will!) change over time.

I hope you liked this post! It feels so good to just be back here and talk about books. If you’ve read any of these books please let me know what you thought about it! Don’t hesitate in linking your own post so I can check it out and discuss what YOU’ve been reading!
